Daddy Daughter Ski Weekend

This weekend we take it a little bit easy on the slopes. (just a little bit). Erin is comming with me for our annual D and D ski weekend. It's cool because she still like to venture out with me and spend time with me. My wife don't ski.. (She don't want to get hurt?) So it's just Erin and I. These are times that Erin will think about later on in life and remember foundly. It's good to have one on one time with your kids also. She is almost a teenager and we are beginning to develope that communication barrier.. BUT don't worry I am big and strong and break down barrriers with a KIck of my foot!!! So wish us luck and we will post on Sunday with some cool pics.

SATURDAY Morning I woke up to this lovely site!!

So we left Chicago at 6:0pm and what should normally take us one and a half hours ended up taking us two in a half to three hours to get there. When we started out Friday night it was raining but as we got closer to our objective the snow started to fly. I had to keep at a speed of nor more than 30 miloes and hour on the toll-way because I could'nt see more than 15 feet in front of me. But we got there and hit the fish fry and then played some pool and made it an early night so we would be ready for the slopes and when i got up in the morning this is what I saw looking out the back porch of the cottage. I had to leave the ski van all the down by the compound entrance because the snow was too deep to get through!!!
It is a Beautiful site though....Ahhhhh

FINALLY!!!

I mean come on really now!! Its fuckin like what January 21st and I finally get out to the slopes!! What the Fuck? Well we better be able to ski until freakin April!! Anyhow this is what I love to do in the Winter months. Moss can not grow on a rolling stone!! Thats why I keep on a movin!! I believe age will have trouble catching up with me if I keep on moving also!! Two fellow employees joined me on this ski trip. One is 28 and the other is 32 and They both at one point of the day had to take a break. I kept on going.. So being at 40 years of age that makes me feel pretty good about myself... Anyhow fun fun fun was had by all!!! I hope it stays cold so they can continue to make more snow. I am hoping to get my daughter Erin up there this upcoming weekend...Keep your fingers crossed....

SKIING FINALLY!!!

OK keep your fingers crossed!! A couple of my buddies and I are heading up North to brave the warmer air and get some verticals going!!! I have been checking the Hill and they have snow on it so we are gonna go up and do some skiing!! We plan on leaving here Friday and getting up there to enjoy a good ole fashioned fish fry.. Then probably hit the bar and play some pool with the hicks and hopefully hear a band. Then up Early Saturday morning and I will make a big ass breakfast eggs sausage taters and then we head to the hill so we can get skiing!! After we drag our tattered bodies back to the cottage from 8 hours of downhill disasters.. We will more than likely vege and nap and then get up and go from a big prime rib dinner and then catch a band... We always say that but we usually eat and then go to the bar and only stay for about an hour and then leave cause we are so tired..LOL Old men.. So lets see how it goes. I will bring the camera to get some good pics and I will post them when we get back. Who the hell cares? Nobody has been commenting on the fuckin blog anyway!! Well those of you who have keep it up and I will try to keep you entertained.. Peace out see you in the emergency room.

Well This is a picture of me 20 years ago when I completed Basic Training for the United States Air Force. This is the same thing my son has completed this week!! We have not spoken since he went in on December 5th 2005. I have recieved a couple of short letters from him and I have sent him 5-6 pretty long letters to keep his spirits up.. He graduates this Friday 1/20/06 and will be going to the south states for his technical school. I am still not sure where he is going yet. Lets all wish him luck and hopefully he will be close enogh for me to ride down and visit with him... Good Job Airman Androoooooooooo!! Se ya soon!!

This show was one of the best shows I have seen in a small venue. We go to Buddy Guys bar and we got there just a little bit too late to get a table so we had to stand. (We got there at 7:20pm!!) There is a guy playing acoustic blues on the stage and he is pretty good. I ate a bucket of twelve wing butter and garlic flavor... They are really good. The second act comes out. A guy from Mississippi John Proper.. I am going to check his web site later... He was real good he had an excellent harmonica player and a keyboard player that was out of this world. John Proper's guitar licks were pretty good but they didn't scream.. He was also able to change a guitar string while in the middle of a song and didn't miss a lick.
Then Buddy Guy comes out at around 10:30 and man it was freakin awesome!! He played a ton of great songs and came out into the crowd a couple of times. So to really understand this and appreciate it ... He is a small old black man and he is kind of timid in stature and size then he gets on stage and he is all smiles and his guitar is FUCKIN screaming!!! Very good show if you ever get a chance check him out...

BUDDY GUY!!

OK so there is no snow here to ski on this weekend and we canceled the trip.. so FUCK IT lets sing the Blues!!
Idobeastool and I are go to see Buddy Guy at his bar and grill Friday night!!! So Rock on Bitches!! I am gonna jam to the blues deep in the city where blues is king. Woooo Whoooooo!!

The Masculine Race?

She is hotter than Georgia asphalt!!! If she crimped down with her vaginal muscles she would make your pecker look like a 4 piece sausage link!! I'm sure she is a nice person and I can appreciate what she has done to her body as far as muscle development, you know cutting the fat away to show her definition and how she has isolated and developed each individual muscle group... But Gott-Damn Baby this Bitch is freakin scary!!! Can you see her implants? They are resting right on top of her pectoral muscles!! The bulging Billy Joel eyes and Red hair complete her look!!

This is where I do all my skiing!!

Well it's all I have within a reasonable driving distance. About 1 and 1/2 hours from Sweet home Chicago. It's about 10 to 15 minutes from the Cottage in Wisconsin. So we make a lot of overnight ski trips and it's a lot of fun. The first one is this coming weekend Me and the da boys are going tear up the slopes and fuck with the cheese heads!!
The Hill itself is not big by any sense of the word but it is demanding in many parts. The moguls are pretty difficult and for right now its enough for me. By the end of a 7 hour day of skiing the body is pretty well spent. The Lactic acid has traveled thru most of your muscles especial the quads and gluts and it has burned most of your muscle fibers beyond recognition. If I travel farther into the state of Cheese I can hit Devils Head which is a definite step up from Wilmot. The only thing is it's like three and one half hours from home or 2 from the cottage. So If I do go it would have to be a hotel overnight trip and the wife don't ski so I pretty much have to stick with Wilmot and make the best of it. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining. I have skied in Nevada at Sugar bowl, Winter mountain, Heavenly Valley, Squaw Valley and Wilmot is fine. Plus when we get to the hill we back the van up to the snow so when we take a break we can ski right up to the vehicle and tailgate right there. I will post pictures!!! Stay tuned.

Bears sleep this weekend!!!

Here I am in Chicago with the Chicago Bears who have no games this weekend. This beautiful snapshot was taken while I tried to get an autograph from #57 Olin Kruetz The Bears Center. All and all it is a good picture but I need a shave and Olin is piss ass drunk... More posts after I found out when and who we play next weekend!!!
I have to go rehab my eldest daughters newly bought condo....See ya soon!!

YEAH!! BABY Ski Season is here!!

Next weekend will be the first of many ski trips for this year of our Lord 2006!!
Should be fun and interesting. This first trip will include some novice snowboarders who should make for some funny specticles. I hope the moguls are ready to go!! Lets see what kind of pic's we can get this year.... (break a leg) or better yet (don't do a Sonny Bono)

Body discovered in trash container

Police are trying to identify a man who died Wednesday while in a trash container that caught fire behind a Crestwood convenience store.
Firefighters discovered the body after they extinguished the fire behind the Shop-Mart, 13650 Cicero Ave., shortly after midnight.

Cmdr. John Palcu, of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, said police are not sure whether the man was killed or his death was accidental. Crestwood police are assisting in the investigation.

The body contained no identification. Police described the victim as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 285 pounds. His clothing had been burned off.

Police ran his description through a statewide missing-persons database but did not find a match, Palcu said.

A passing driver spotted the container fire and called the fire department, police said. Firefighters arrived at 12:05 a.m. and extinguished the fire two minutes later.

Autopsy results show the man inhaled smoke before he died, Palcu said, which suggests that he was breathing when the fire started.

"If he was passed out (before the fire), I don't know. There was not a lot of trauma on the body," Palcu said.

At the request of the Cook County medical examiner's office, the body was transported to the morgue in the trash bin on top of a flat-bed truck. The body was initially examined inside the container on Wednesday morning.

Shop-Mart workers said they didn't see anything unusual when closing the store two hours before the body was discovered. Assistant manager Kaushik Patel said he emptied garbage into the container at 4 p.m. Tuesday and didn't notice anything.

This Mornings Rude awakening!!

So my nextel goes off at 3:00am this morning and all shit hits the fan. The dogs start barking, I get out of the bed and being the large person I am I make the entire bed move, Yes it's a king size but it still moved!! So I yelled at the individual on the other line because he woke it up!!! It nearly bite my head off!! LOL I'm just kidding but yes he woke my wife up and you should never wake my wife up! My wife is not happy when her sleep is disrupted! My wife goes insane when her slumber is interrupted!!! My wife! Was not happy.
Anyhow I was informed that the cops found a body in one of our dumpsters and the Major Crime Scene officers needed me to take the dumpster and it's contents (the body) to the forensics crime lab so the CSI people could run their tests on it!!
So I finally got to the scene and it was all taped off and the cops nearly jumped me for crossing the tape but I said relax fuckers!! I'm with the Garbage company!! Back the fuck off!! They said Oh excuse us right this way Mr trashman. So I ambled over to the dumpster and I slightly opened my overcoat, adjusted my Fedora and popped a sucker into my mouth. They said what do think? I said hmmmm, he looks dead.. They said yes that's exactly what we where thinking. I said looks like foul play, They said yes the fact that someone started the body and the dumpster on fire leads us to believe that also, what else do you see... Once again I adjusted my hat and removed the sucker from my mouth and said I can tell you the victims name!! They said what? I said I know the victims name!! They said well tell us man.. I said Jack.......

Actually when I get more on the story I will share. All I know now is that at least two people dumped this large body into this dumpster and started it on fire to destroy the evidence. The victim was a large young man so they know it had to be more than one person involved cause one person could not have got him into the dumpster. I will keep you a-breast with any more info as I receive it.

ATTENTION!!! YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!

OK, all of you that know me well, know of my battle with addiction and my addictive personality. It sucks when you are trying to overcome something but other people don't really understand it. When You finally find someone or something that relates to it you freak out and say "Yeah Me too!! That's what I am going thru!!" and it helps you to realize that your not alone in this world. You are not experiencing something for the first time that is brand new, that is a selfish thought. Anything that you experience has already been experienced by someone else somewhere in this world.. So when you do find that person or thing you grasp it and find interest in it and see if it can help you too because you share a common bond with it or them.
Well my sister "Jenphiner" has really and truly supported the cleaning up of my act.. More than anyone I know, and I really appreciate that and can't tell her how much that means and helps me. Each year she has given me a card, around this time of the year to congratulate me on my achievement thus far because the battle with addiction is never over.. At least once everyother day I want, need, or have to take a drink or something to get me buzzed or high. I make the decision not to and it's hard. Her acknowledgment of that helps me tremendously.
This was the first year of my 4 years being sober that I didn't receive a card.... I know it's busy around this time of the year and with the kids and all. She did mention it to me and that is acknowledgment enough.. But then she gave me gift better than any card, she told me of a book she had read "a million little pieces by James Frey". She said she had read it and like I this guy battled with drugs and alcohol and kicked it and did it with some help from members and believer in the AA 12 step system. After he got his life back he never really accepted their concept of being totally submerged into these twelve steps and neither did I. This can be scary because they say that you will not stay sober if you don't accept and practice their 12 steps.. For someone who knows that if he takes a toke or a drink or hit of anything that he will loose everything like the family and life and job and friends and everything you have worked for. This is not something you want to hear. So it's scary but I have made it thus far and so did James Frey. So their is our common or maybe to you people who don't have problems with addictions our uncommon bond.
Anyhow she gave me this book to read and I have had it for 4 days and I am almost done with it. (It's hard for me to find someone to read it to me as much as I would like). This is an excellent book and you must read it. If you know of someone who is going thru this or have gone thru this or who might go thru this read it!!
Then comment back to me on it.
So today I have finally have a day off of work and on Opera I hear "author James Frey is here with us today and...."
I had to sit down and couldn't believe he was on TV. Really weird full cirle,everything happens for a reason, physicick weird bullshit... Thrown right in my face. I think it's cool anyhow read this book.
Thanks Jenphiner for letting me read it I will either give it back this weekend but if it's OK Julie wants to read it. Hey I am gonna read his other book "My friend Leonard" I let you know about it. Thanks for your support sis, You don't know how much it helps. Even though I know others support me it's your acknowledgment that helps every time at this time of the year which is not an easy time to get thru with all the parties and shit!! Don't tell anyone but I was in bed at 9:30pm December 31st. Oh well.

I know we are saving them for the playoff game but man o man they are payed Hundreds of thousands of dollars...Make em work for it!! You don't see a cop or a firefighters chief or commander say "hey, Urlacher sit down this quarter, we got a big fire coming up in two weeks , I can't risk you getting hurt saving someone's life at this small house fire!!"

I just hope none of the needed players get hurt in this game. What will Lovey do? You have to play Grossman to keep him fresh and keep his momentum going, but you don't want to put him in harms way. We know what could happen there. You want to protect you offensive linemen but, if you put in the third stringers and they don't do the job like they should your QB is made vulnerable. What will happen?

I am confident that lovey will do the right thing.
